CAREGIVER SUPPORT

Programs in this area are provided under the guidelines of Title IIIE of the Older Americans Act and may include information to caregivers about available services; assistance to caregivers in gaining access to the services; individual counseling; organization of support groups; training to caregivers to assist them in decision making and problem solving related to their caregiving roles; respite care to enable caregivers to be temporarily relieved from their caregiving responsibilities; and supplemental services, on a limited basis, to complement the care provided by caregivers.

These services are offered by service providers in all five of the counties we serve.
